No. 01Two issues, front and center

Two issues stand at the center of Catherine’s priorities.

No. 01

No Data Centers

Catherine Grasso took a firm position on industrial-scale data centers early in Calvert County’s debate.

She supported and seconded the two-year moratorium when it first came before the Board, kept pushing after it failed 3–2, and months later the full Board adopted a countywide moratorium. Her position remains clear.

No. 02

Responsible Growth

Development should complement Calvert County — not overwhelm it.

Every development decision must account for traffic and roads, schools and public safety, water, power and infrastructure, existing neighborhoods, agriculture and open space, and the long-term cost to the county.

Growth that fits the county we already have.

No. 04Meet Catherine

Catherine Grasso has called Calvert County home for nearly five decades.

She and her husband, Frank, made their home in Dunkirk, where they raised their three children. Before entering elected office, Catherine spent her career in federal service with the United States Department of Agriculture — formulating and executing an agency budget and administering three nationwide programs.

That experience gave her an extensive background in government budgeting, program administration and management of public resources before she ever joined the County Commission.
